Erik & Tim Completed the Big East Tour!

Erik and I completed our quest to attend an "away" Marquette basketball game at every school in the big east. When we started this, Erik was a freshman in 2015 and I said we'd do it but Erik could NOT miss a day of school.

This past weekend was our final school. Villanova was the last but only because it seems like (at least the last 5-6 years), the Marquette-Villanova game was always on a Wednesday which violated our "no missing school rule". We carried that to minimize missing work for him after graduation and this year the game was on a Friday.

We also have a few caveats: 1) We had plane tickets and purchased game tickets for the St. John's game but due to the huge blizzard in 2016, we couldn't even get there. We did try to make up for it by making another trip to see Seton Hall and also paid for a Madison Square Garden tour to make up for it. Technically we paid for tickets and have been in the venue but never saw that game. 2) We only included the schools in the Big East when Erik was a freshman. UConn has since been added and we haven't even attempted a game (yet).

We could continue this quest, and we might, and also bundle in the Big East Tournament but we feel like we completed our quest!
